Big Download however has the original 1.0.3 version of the game which will be fully functional once patched.

ONE
First create a folder on your desktop (just call it spellborn).
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD ALL OF THESE BEFORE STARTING YOUR INSTALL!
(Make sure all these files are placed in the folder you created)
TWO
Now that all your downloaded files are together in the folder you created in
step one you can start your installation.
(you may have to run as administrator on windows7/vista)
THREE
Now most will be good there but if you're running Win7 and possibly vista you'll
receive a "game guard" loading error which will stop the game's loading.
To fix this get this .des file and place it in your spellborn directory at
*INSTALL DIR*"\The Chronicles of Spellborn\bin\client\GameGuard
